Standard Caremar single fares. Add €1 for each ticket issued online and, if you buy up to the day before departure, a 12% advance-sale fee (minimum €1) on each item. Caremar's table lists a landing ticket only for Capri and Procida; it shows no amount for Ischia. Children travel free on car ferries under 4 and on fast craft under 2; from 4 (or 2) to under 12 there is a reduction, with no amount given. The table does not say whether the vehicle price includes the driver. All fares in euros (EUR).
Caremar, which runs under a public-service contract with the Campania region, sails from two different piers in Naples for Ischia. The car ferry, which takes cars and motorbikes, uses Calata Porta di Massa; the hydrofoil uses Molo Beverello. Both piers have a Caremar ticket office and are about 2 km from the central station at Piazza Garibaldi. On Ischia you land at the main harbour, where ferries and fast craft share the same quay a few hundred metres from the bus station; Caremar's office there is on the Banchina Olimpica.
There is no seasonal timetable to download. Caremar shows sailings one date at a time in the timetable search on its website and in the My Caremar app, and its Next Departures page gives the status for the day. From 2 to 22 November 2026 that search lists the same seven car ferries each way every day, the first leaving Naples at 06:00 and the last at 21:55, with Ischia departures from 06:10 to 20:20; there are also six hydrofoils from Beverello and five back. The car ferry takes 80 to 105 minutes and the hydrofoil 60 to 70. Later dates are not covered here.
An adult single costs €14.80 on the car ferry and €21.60 on the hydrofoil. A car up to 4 m is €47.30, a longer one €67.60. Each ticket bought online costs €1 extra, and buying up to the day before adds a 12% advance-sale fee, at least €1 per item. Caremar's fare table lists a landing ticket only for Capri and Procida and shows no amount for Ischia.
Online sales close 90 minutes before departure for foot passengers and seven hours before if you bring a vehicle. You then collect a boarding card at the ticket office or kiosk; once checked in, the ticket cannot be changed or refunded. Bikes go only on the car ferries and TMV fast ferries, not on the hydrofoil. Passengers who need assistance must tell Caremar at least 48 hours ahead, for example on WhatsApp at +39 345 9722424. The 2026 regional decree restricting vehicles on Ischia ran from 3 April to 31 October; Caremar posts these decrees in its Documents section.
- Get to the port in good time: vehicle boarding closes before departure, and some companies ask passengers to arrive earlier.
- Check the operator's notices on the day — bad weather, rough seas, strikes or works can change or cancel sailings.
- Check where and how to buy your ticket before you travel; some islands add a landing fee to the fare.
